Edit 2: Changed her backstory.
Edit 3: Wardrobe change, as well as a better reference to her bow and arrow and quiver. The quiver's angle on her back is adjustable based on how you tie the sash.

Name: Micha (MEE-cha) Altard
Alias: Mi
Age: 19
History: Micha hails from the north, where the land flattens out into grasslands as far as the eye can see, with only the faint blue line of mountains in the distance. She was born and raised on those steppes, living a semi-nomadic life with her mother, little brother, and tribe. They specialized in raising dragons to watch over their extensive flocks of Mareep and Miltank, using them to keep watch over the herds with sharp eyes and precise archery skills. While she and her tribe believe that Pokemon are essential in helping out with daily life, they feel that, like the wide open steppes they live and travel on, they should be free to so. As such, they do not use Pokeballs at all--the concept is mystifying to them. Her tribe is a large connection of extended families and close family friends, but due to the vast area of the steppes families rarely see one another.

Micha does not have a father. The most she's heard of him is that he comes from somewhere down south. The lack of knowledge does not bother her although sometimes she is resentful as she has inherited much of his traits, making her appear different from the rest of her tribesmen. To make matters worse, she apparently has his foreign surname, too, which amounted for quite a bit of teasing in her childhood.

Her mother fell ill and passed away 7 years ago. Since then, Micha raised her little brother by herself, teaching him how to herd and shoot. Being so secluded, she's only heard about the brewing tensions and upcoming civil war recently, and while she wishes to have nothing to do with it, it bothers her. A lot. So after much deliberation she decided that it's best if she goes down south to check things out for herself.

Personality: She's a rather amiable individual with a motherly disposition, friendly enough upon first meeting with several topics that just click and make her talk for hours. While on the surface she appears to be a pushover years of running a household by herself have sharpened her wits; she'll observe and graciously go along with whatever you want to do but the moment she sees an opening she'll take it. And she won't take any objections in those cases, either. It's not like she's a backstabber, though--if anything, she's always more than willing to help out if its within her abilities and you ask politely enough. She's also not at all adverse to letting men do their manly displays when they decide to be chivalric. Really likes small children / Pokemon and frequently cares for them.

Other:
- clearly knows her limits and rarely attempts to overstep them. For example: she had originally wanted to join the Rangers because she felt like that would be the best utilization for her archery skills, but recognizes that she has little actual woodlands survival skills. So she didn't bother to pursue entrance to the Rangers.
- extremely flexible and able to shift from one plan to the next at a moment's notice. As such, she joined the Knights after giving up on Rangers. She thinks that Ritter Sr's attitude towards justice is a bit too much but she does identify with wanting to protect those near and dear to her.
- Hates knives and swords. Sharp things being waved near her face make her extremely uncomfortable.
- Makes her own arrows. She even has custom ones designed to fly a certain way (sharp sideways curve, extra spin for power, etc.). It's a vital skill to have in her homeland and she's willing to share the arrows if she likes a person enough.
- Rides bareback or with a blanket thrown on top. No matter the species.

Generally views fights as a waste of time and effort and so uses his Intimidate ability and a flash of enormous jaws and sharp teeth to deter annoyances. Is a horror when convinced to fight, though. Although he was raised by Micha from an egg, he views his own strength far more superior than her's and doesn't think twice about disobeying her if he feels the need to. He's saved them from many an ugly situation though so Micha doesn't particularly mind. Usually can be found high in the skies ready to drop down at a moment's notice.

Sarine is a lady. Delicate in mannerism and eloquent by nature, Sarine is everyone's image of the ideal noble lady. Possesses some abilities at human speech and enjoys the occasional conversation with intelligent beings of all species. However, she has a strong punch and the speed to make it hurt for weeks. The earring was a family heirloom from when Micha's mother passed away; Sarine takes exceedingly good care of it because it's a precious reminder to her trainer of days past.

Meridan loves Lord Faran and Lady Sarine and Mother Micha and bread. While he may be tiny now and spends most of his time clinging to or trotting at Micha's heels, one day he's going to grow up really big and strong and then he'll be Micha's knight in shining armor (Sarine smiles politely and Faran just shakes his mighty head in a bemused manner). He doesn't quite understand how the world works and often trips over his tiny limbs in his childish excitement, but he tries his hardest, and that pleases his family and makes him happy. Very friendly and outgoing--he'll frequently be found toddling up to someone and following them like a duckling. Often he'll bring some bread as a friendship offering. He'd rather snuggle than fight.

Kesig --- Dratini

Brought to Castelia from her hometown after the unfortunate passing of her first human companion, Kesig is disillusioned towards both her powers and abilities as a mystical dragon-being and the promises of men. Having escaped the confines of her Pokeball and smashing it in the process, she resided in the streets, barely managing to eke out a living for herself until Micha found her. Bitter to a fault, she maintains a 5 meter radius around her that must be observed, lest you want some limb to be bitten off. No one is spared. Not even Micha.
